The Philadelphia Inquirer reports that the lead author, Susan J. Lee, is a medical student who formerly worked for NARAL Pro-Choice America. According to employee records, she served as staff attorney for the organization in 1999 and 2000.
Other contributors include Eleanor A. Drey and Mark Rosen, doctors in OBGYN and "reproductive sciences" at San Francisco General Hospital. Drey directs the hospital's Women's Options Center, where abortions take place three days a week. Her professional experience includes performing abortions, including those in the second trimester (12 to 24 weeks), and abortion training.
"........"[The study's authors] are fully invested in the abortion agenda, minimizing any evidence that would dissuade medical students and doctors from performing abortions," said Wendy Wright, CWA's senior policy analyst."
