More sex offenders getting free Viagra
Over the Counter Morning After Pill Passes In NY
MORE? Wasn' it enough last month? GEEZ! Just what we need, a Bunch of HORNY CHILD MOLESTORS AND RAPISTS!
At least 137 registered sex offenders, including convicted rapists and child molesters, got free Viagra and other impotence treatments courtesy of California taxpayers in the last year.
An audit by Attorney General Bill Lockyer shows, California taxpayers spent $2.6 million to provide 5,855 men with Viagra and other erectile dysfunction drugs during that period, including the sex offenders.
Last month a New York state audit showed 198 sex offenders there received government-reimbursed Viagra between January 2000 and March 2005.
Nice Country AMERIKA! You will Protect the Flag ( bill passed to stop flag-burning) but NOT BABIES and CHILDREN! YOU will hand out SEX PILLS and Morning after pills like candy at tax payer expense!
Speaking of Morning after Pills, My state of NY Just passed and is awaiting Gov. Patakis Signature the Moring after pill over the counter.
The measure would allow girls and women to obtain the medication without a physician's visit or prescription and without parental consent regardless of the patient's age.
Current state law requires a physician's visit. State Sen. Nicholas Spano, a Westchester Republican, said the measure he sponsored bypasses "the frequent difficulties encountered in obtaining medical appointments at offices with limited hours, long waits or inconvenient locations."
"Today, science has triumphed over politics," said Kelli Conlin, executive director of the National Abortion Rights Action League Pro-Choice New York. "The state Legislature granted the women of New York greater access to birth control and gave them a second chance to prevent unintended pregnancy. Let today's vote be a call to the FDA and the Bush administration to look past partisan politics and remove roadblocks to over-the-counter approval of emergency contraception."
The group seeks full over-the-counter dispensing of the medication, without the need for the so-called blanket prescription provided to a pharmacist, nurse or midwife.
"It creates many conflicts with my own religious teachings and background," Spano who is Roman Catholic said. "But I was elected a senator, not a cardinal." (THAT LINE KILLS ME! MAYBE HE SHOULD ACT LIKE ONE- a senator- for the people!)
FOR THE RECORD! IAM NOT ADVOCATING THE MORNING AFTER PILL! I AM AGAINST IT!
