NARAL hosts 'Screw Abstinence Party'

An affiliate of one of the nation's leading abortion-rights groups is taking a hard-edged swipe at cultural conservatives by inviting young donors to a "Screw Abstinence Party.".....

.....The party features the "Pork Filled Players" – described as "Seattle theatre's hottest sketch comedy group" – who will perform "a sex ed class for adults." Also on the schedule is the retailer Toys in Babeland, "Seattle’s sleaze-free, sex-positive purveyors of adult toys," which will "offer tips on 'Sexy Safer Sex.'".....

...A flyer says funds raised at the party go toward securing "comprehensive and medically-accurate sex education, as well as guarantee every woman the right to make personal decisions regarding the full range of reproductive choices.".....

Now thats a lie! They NEVER tell them the whole truth about abortion!

It appears Not all of the pro-death crowd agrees. Could it be Naral is getting Desperate?

A contributor to the weblog of Seattle's left-leaning alternative weekly, The Stranger, thought NARAL was making a politically foolish choice.

"Does this strike anyone else as a cringe-worthy and counterproductive theme for a pro-choice fundraiser," asked Josh Feit.....

......While opposing "abstinence only" sex education, NARAL's national organization has supported legislation that would provide federal funding for programs that teach both abstinence and "safe sex," or contraception.....

Now that is an oxymoron! How can you have abstinence AND safe Sex?
