Leading the Children Astray.
What are they Teaching in Schools These DAYS?!!!
Two parent-backed groups filed a lawsuit against a Maryland school district today to block a sex-ed curriculum that advocates homosexual behavior and includes a video illustrating condom usage using a cucumber.
Citizens for a Responsible Curriculum and Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays and Gays, or PFOX, complain the pilot program for 8th through 10th grade in six Montgomery County Public Schools, scheduled to begin Thursday, presents sexual variations and behaviors, including homosexuality, as morally equivalent to traditionally accepted norms.
The curriculum never refers to husband and wife, but, instead, redefines family as "two or more people who are joined together by emotional feelings or who are related to one another." ~ Does this related included incest?~
What the hell is this Crap? Whatever happened to regular Sex-ed? The body, how reproduction works, cleanliness? Sex-ed was equivalent to a quick anatomy class.
What are they doing teaching KIDS how to have sex, and gay or freaky sex at that?!
The instruction includes:
"Fact: Most experts in the field have concluded that sexual orientation is not a choice."
~LIE~
"Fact: Sex play with friends of the same gender is not uncommon during early adolescence and does not prove long-term sexual orientation."
~LIE~
"Jesus said absolutely nothing at all about homosexuality."
~WHAT?~ Read the BIBLE! Jesus is GOD incarnate. The words of GOD ARE the Words of Jesus!
"Religion has often been misused to justify hatred and oppression."
~Wrong!~ It is Out of Love Christians speak out. Sin is Sin. If this was a movement promoting burgulary as normal and right, we would speak out about that too!
"One's sexual and emotional orientations are fixed at an early age ... certainly by age five."
~Say What? They haven't been to childrens chatrooms have they? Read More
If Parents Continue to keep kids in schools that teach Dangerous Behaviour, (There is NO mention of the health risks involved) They have them selves to blame when kids come home DISEASED!
UPDATE TO THIS:
The curriculum has been reviewed by two mental health experts and an infectious disease medical specialist. Their report, titled Health Education as Social Advocacy found significant errors of fact in the curriculum.
Warren Throckmorton, Ph.D., one of the authors of the report said, "In reviewing the Montgomery County, Md., condom demonstration video, I was surprised to find factual errors. The film tells 10th graders that condoms are 98% effective but does not tell them that this figure does not apply to sexually transmitted infections. Further, the video does not tell students that this figure only applies to perfect use. In fact, typical use failure rates of condoms for pregnancy are around 15% for the average user. Condoms provide poor protection for many STIs, such as herpes and the human papilloma virus (HPV). Students need these facts."
Another co-author , Ruth M. Jacobs, M.D., who is an infectious disease specialist added, "Use of condoms using Nonoxynol-9 is encouraged in the video, however the World Health Organization has stated that Nonoxynol-9 condoms should not be promoted and that Nonoxynol-9 should not be used rectally."
The report can be found here. It is in PDF. Format.
Schools are using a one-sided biased approach to teaching Sex-Ed in schools, which lead students to believe it is all truth, and leaves them with the impression that deviant immoral sexual behaviour is acceptable, irregardless of Parents wishes. HEY, NEA, THESE ARE NOT YOUR KIDS! OK?! ANY QUESTIONS?
