Ten Commandments? NO! Own your home? NO! Grow Babies for Body Parts? YES! Sodomy? YES!
It was another 5-4 ruling.
Well, almost the same, this time Sandra Day O'Connor said NO!
Writing for the majority, Justice David H. Souter said, "The touchstone for our analysis is the principle that the First Amendment mandates government neutrality between religion and religion, and between religion and nonreligion."--HUH?
Souter said, "When the government acts with the ostensible and predominant purpose of advancing religion, it violates tha central Establishment clause value of official religious neutrality."
Souter was joined in his opinion by Justices John Paul Stevens, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Stephen G. Breyer and Sandra Day O'Connor.
The court declined to ban all displays on government property, saying some, like their own courtroom frieze, are allowed if they have a neutral purpose, such as honoring the nation's legal history.
But the Kentucky displays were deemed a promotion of religion. --HOW do they Promote Religion? How Did Judge Moore's Display Promote Religion?
One thing I noticed recently on a personal level, In family Court here in NY when at trial I was asked to raise my right hand and swear to tell the truth...There was NO BIBLE to swear upon!
I am finished! Im Done! This is another slap in the face for GOD! Im done praying for this country! They can grow babies in a lab to harvest parts, they can kill a baby out of inconvience, sodomy is Good, and they can take your homes for big business! This country will get what it deserves! If destruction comes I will pray it to be swift.
