Women hurt by abortion speak out
Operation Outcry represents 1000 woman who are suffering the effects of abortion. Including Roe and Doe.
Norma McCorvey (Roe) began a quest in 2003 to reopen the case, based on changes in law and new scientific research that make the prior decision "no longer just."
Sandra Cano (Doe) also testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee.
The two women claimed they were manipulated to achieve the political agenda of their attorneys and that their cases were based on fraud.
Operation Outcry points out that abortion is a key battleground for the president's nomination to fill the vacancy on the U.S. Supreme Court.
"We implore the president and the U.S. Senate to select a justice who will have the courage to revisit Roe v Wade and Doe v Bolton," the group said in a statement. "The court needs to hear of the devastation to women that that has been caused by their 1973 decision.
"It is time for America to know the truth about abortion and to hear from women who have reaped the consequences of killing their own children."
