Slippery slope between Euthanasia and assisted Suicide
A man in the netherlands has been charged with helping a woman to end her life.
73 year old J.H. founder of Dutch suicide consultancy De Einder has been charged with helping 27 year old unnamed woman to kill herself.
Altho the netherlands legally allows euthanasia, assisted suicide of an individual, especially one who suffers from mental illness is not.
Patients must be suffering from a terminal and debilitating illness effecting quality of life and must be of sound mind to legally request euthanasia, and Drs. must concur.
Like all things there will be those who bend the rules.
